If you have suffered from COVID-19 in the last 6 months (180 days) and plan to travel, you may require a medical certificate as evidence that you are fully recovered.
Our doctors can provide you with a same-day medical certificate confirming that your last positive COVID-19 test was more than 10 days ago, and you are now symptom-free and fit to travel. No appointment is needed – simply apply online.
What will I receive?
You will receive a verifiable digital PDF letter signed by a medical professional and sent directly to your mobile, containing the following details:
Your name and sex, date of birth and date of assessment.
Your passport number and unique certificate ID.
Confirmation that your last positive COVID-19 test was more than 10 days ago, and the type of test taken (PCR or rapid lateral flow).
Confirmation that you have had no COVID-19 symptoms in the last 72 hours and are fit to travel.
Signature and authorisation by one of our GMC-registered UK doctors.

Important – Which countries can I use this certificate for?
The list of countries which require a COVID-19 recovery certificate for entry can change frequently. Prior to purchasing a COVID-19 recovery certificate, please check that your airline or destination country will accept it, as this is entirely at their discretion. Some countries do not accept private healthcare recovery certificates, and our QR code cannot be uploaded to some overseas apps*.

The ZoomDoc COVID-19 recovery certificate cannot be uploaded to the EU Covid Pass app.
How does it work?
Following the purchase of your COVID-19 recovery certificate, you will be asked to complete a short online form and upload your positive COVID-19 PCR or rapid lateral flow test result.
Your evidence is then reviewed by our doctors, prior to issuing you with your COVID-19 recovery certificate. If our doctors have any further questions, they may give you a quick call.
Accepted worldwide, this digital PDF letter is signed by a UK-registered doctor and includes a QR code enabling verification.
What will I need to supply?
To allow us to assess your condition and issue a medical certificate, we will require the following information:
A photo of your passport
A positive COVID-19 PCR or rapid lateral flow test result
Your completed online medical form
Details of your regular NHS GP (if you have one)
When can I purchase a certificate?
You can purchase a COVID-19 recovery certificate if you have had a positive COVID-19 test result between the last 10 days and 180 days. You must be free of all symptoms for 3 days before applying.
We can accept international and private test results; we also accept NHS test results via app notification, email, or SMS. (Please note that we are unable to accept a photo of a test cassette as evidence.)

You do not need to live in the UK, or have tested positive for COVID-19 in the UK, to apply for this recovery certificate.
However, our team will require verifiable evidence in order to validate your certificate.
However, we are unable to accept a photo of a test cassette as evidence.
You are able to apply and upload your evidence prior to 10 days, but your certificate will only be sent to you on day 10.
Once scanned, your personal online results portal is loaded, from where your medical letter can be reviewed and personal details confirmed.
Please note: Our QR codes may not be readable by the EU Covid Pass app, as well as other apps used by specific countries.

All our doctors are registered with the UK General Medical Council.
Some countries only accept recovery certificates dated from within 90 days of arrival, so please check prior to travelling.

However, please check the requirements of your destination country, as young children may not always need a COVID-19 recovery certificate to travel.
Nonetheless, our recovery certificates are accepted at airport check-in desks for travel to all destinations that accept doctor-signed, QR-coded COVID-19 recovery certificates.
Once our doctors have provided a medical certificate, we are unable to provide a refund.
